In its endeavor to enhance consumer satisfaction and improve the end-user experience of telecommunications services in the Sultanate, Oman TRA (Telecom Regulator Authority) strives to effectively monitor the performance of service provider’s networks, systems and related work processes from all aspects. The TRA for this purpose has issued a Quality of Service (QoS) regulation to monitor the service provider’s overall network performance and customer service (voice & data). TRA selected Cyberteq to conduct field measurements nationwide including walk tests for indoor locations and with focus on rural areas for assessing the QoS of voice and data services as perceived by end-users in the sultanate. Cyberteq started the benchmarking campaign since few month with cooperation and support from TRA team.
